The superintendents of the building always decorate the lobby really nicely for Halloween. She really does a good job. They set up a table in the lobby and give out treats from there. I ran down to take a few pictures of it before the little hobgoblins descended on us. It's nice that they don't let them run through the building. I can easily forget all about it lol

I went for a walk earlier this afternoon, but i didn't get back before the rain started again. A heavy mist/light rain that got me just as wet. Oh well.

Making macaroni and cheese for supper. Haven't made that in a long time, not with a cheese sauce. Usually i make it with a can of chopped tomatoes and just melt cheese over it. Fast and yummy. This way is a bit more fiddly, no tomato, but lots and lots of cheese! mmmmmmmm!

Anyway, here's a couple of photos of the lobby all decorated. They do inside and outside the entrance too with stuff taped on the window and hanging from the overhang over the door as well as strings of pumpkin shaped lights.

Not not many at all but the neighbourhood gets a fair few i think.

That is terrific. I applaud your Super. How nice for the kids to have a fun place to pick up their treats. Halloween is such a big deal to them. Do the tennants chip in with the goodies?

Yes they ask the tennants contribute. I don't usually but i think they get enough that it works out ok.

ooOO..i made mac and cheese too.
My mom used to do it with the tomatoes, and thats really good too.
I found a recipe for the cheese sauce kind and so thats the one I make , when I make it..

It didn't really turn out that well though it's edible. My sauce always goes sort of cruddy and curdly looking, not smooooooooth and creamy. Tastes ok though. I suppose the problem is probably too much heat and maybe i should let it cool down a bit from simmering before i fire in the cheese.
