(i think that includes irc, msn, boards and websites, usenet, etc as "fandom" and for me, Coronation Street online groups have changed my life! )

My life has also been changed by the internet. Besides meeting YOU of course <3 ;) I also regained my interest in music. After my band Blood Money split in the late 80's I grew very depressed musically and even sold my equipment because I couldn't bear to look at it. I went a good few years without even listening to music (except for the drivel on the radio) until I discovered the internet. It was there (or should I say here) that I stumbled upon Sacrificial Screams Metal Board and I've been a member ever since. I made lots of friends, some of them became true brothers and sisters, and through them I found my love of music return from it's exile. I started to listen to the new styles of a genre that has never left and was in turn, enthused to start up a new band. The rest is history of course lol.

I'm thankful to the internet. I get to "chat" with my friends and family from thousands of miles away.....any time I want. I LOVE IT!
