Mondays aren't so bad

tvordljBloody hell it's cold today. Winter's back! (we had a mild spell last week) it's -29 with the wind chill but there's no 'smoke on the water' over the harbour so the base temp must be rising. Got in to the office and there was a message on my voice mail from one of the men that worked for a project i was doing 2 years ago. He was here on contract and he keeps in touch with us every so often so that was nice. Sorry i missed his call.
Also got my Avon order and discovered that i ordered a watch. It's silver, got a stretch bracelet with a Celtic motif on elongated ocatgonal shaped links. Ah. here's a photo. Kind of nice for a change. The only watch i've had is sort of "industrial", plain metal link band that's getting a bit worn and not very girly.
It's almost March already and my calendar is already filling up. March 1 is the Bruce Jones evening, March 3 is my birthday, March 4 is the corporate volleyball tournament where i have signed up to keep score on one of the courts (the one where the firemen play if i have any say about it!). On the 18th my friends Jo, Tracey and i and Jo's daughter are going to see the Committments at the Casino. There are a lot of birthdays in March as well as mine so i must stock up on cards.
Oh and something else i remembered that the psychic told me. someone was going to want to give me a dog, not a big one, maybe with long fluffy ears. Well they might want to give it to me, but it won't find a home with me thankyouverymuch. *not* a dog person. Oh oh . and she said someone was going to spill something all over me (that will probably be me doing the spilling!) and i should carry a spare top around in my car (well i don't have a car so i guess i'm up the creek! )
