(no subject)

Been a fairly quiet day overall. It's dark and rainy and chilly. Mom and Dad came over for a little visit earlier and since i was going to go out to the shops anyway i got them to drop me off at Penhorn Mall. I had planned to look for a new bra, and try to find some Terry's Chocolate Orange raspberry flavour and at some point go for a browse in Chapters bookshop.

I started in Sears and came out of there with *3* bras (all on sale) and a purse. Pickedup a few odds and ends in the dollar store and some groceries. By that time i had just enough bags but too many to schlep through Wal-Mart so i ended up getting the bus home and bypassing the bookstore. I had bought a roasted chicken so i had a bit of that and then I decided the dark skies outside called for a nap so i have been dozing for a couple of hours and that's me for the day!

LJ has been slow today, a lot of my UK flisters are away having social things to do in Whitby for the Goth Weekend. Hope there has been no Accidents.

now ya know..your day today..it is a day I would LOVE...and soon I will have that chance..but it sounds like an awesome day and one that I would most enjoy. To just skip off to the mall..window shopping..maybe getting a thing or two..sitting down and people watching with a tea...then have a nap..chilling out..ahhhh sound marvelous!!!!

i shivered when I read the terry's raspberry falvored chocolate..*shiver*

i think i'll meander to chapters tomorrow...I had a ton of things planned for this weekend, but with this weather, it just doesnt seem like Im going to do it.

the psychic was kinda lame.....really vague and disappointing..hit on a few things, but nothing to warrant the fee i paid him...:(

Im pretty sure i saw them at the shoppers out by me..Ill definitely pick you some up when i see 'em!

Thanks Cin. I owe them to someone who sent me some organic choccie from the UK. They can't get the raspberry flavoured ones over there.

it does sound like a nice day, but you always describe things well anyway. If that was my day it would have been, went to debenhams had something to eat came home had a nap. LOL

I love napping, I had a great one yesterday then someone woke me up ringing on the door bell grrrrr

I rarely nap but i was sitting here feeling sleepy and thought why not. I had a lie in this morning but it's another perfect nap type day, dark and foggy.

I always tell myself it's just going to be a few things, but it never works out that well.

Still, I know how difficult it can be to find bras, and to find three at once is almost like striking it rich. I'm assuming you hate bra shopping as much as most women?

I love purses and bags. I buy one and use it for awhile as my only purse and then buy a new one. I'm not one for having lots and changing back and forth.

I bought a purse recently as well! I wanted a smaller one for my walks, to hold my wallet, camera and *shudder* cell phone. I got tired of lugging my heavy pack or my big purse everywhere. It has dragonflies on the front of it, but I wish it was just a weeee bit bigger too. :) I will have to get a smaller wallet, I think ;-)

i really like my wallet though. Also there's no room to carry my camera if i wanted to but i could if i chucked out the book. I got tired of carrying a purse and a tote bag (to work) so i bought a large zipped tote bag at Harrod's and was using that all winter. However this new one, black with bright pink stitching and piping does look more up to date so i'll try and live with it for awhile. I have a small purse/pouch that i wear for just out walking or shopping and i just fire id and money in it, then i can fit the phone and camera if i want, plus keys, bus pass etc. Just need something more for work/commuting.
