It's over 32 degrees and it's after 5:30! it's humid too but there's a breeze. Hot air, mind you. Not bad in the apartment, i don't get direct sun and i have the fan on anyway.

Put gas in Dad's car before going back out there and Ryan, Staci and sis arrived shortly after. Dad was having a pretty good day and had slept fairly well last night. He was nodding off but didn't want to go to bed. Too interested in what everyone was saying i think lol

sammantha and i decided to go see Madacascar after that.. Spur of the moment. Cute movie. Saw the trailer for the Wallace and Grommit movie too :))))))) Can't wait for that one! Madagascar had some cute stuff in it that the adults "got" like when asked where all the people were, the king of the Lemurs says they ate their livers. lol (fava beans and chianti, anyone?) They parodied a scene from American Beauty too, with the Lion and Steaks instead of roses lol David Schwimmer was perfect as the hypochondriac whining giraffe and Chris Rock as the manic hyperactive Zebra and Jada Pinkett Smith was a good hippo, maternal but no nonsense. I didn't really know the guy that did the lion and he was ok but not as good as the others. Anyway it was cute. I don't usually go see animated movies but i am planning to see Wallace and Grommit in the fall.

I like most of his movies..but I was thinking later..they could have gotten a better 'voice' for the Lion, than Ben.
