And an interview from
aditi_
1) Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hmm... I expect to stil be working for HRM for a start, and 3 years from when i *could* take early retirement :) I hope that
gramie_dee will be living with me here. And then there's that lottery ticket....
2) What was the scariest thing that has happened to you?
Saying "I love you" for the first time in, oh, 20 odd years was pretty frightening.
Seriously though, i think leaving my marriage and starting all over again was a huge challenge.
If i had a sense of fear, it would probably also be the time i was very ill in the hospital in Montreal. But i was 3. I don't remember it much.
3) What was your favorite toy as a child?
I remember a sort of template thing that you could use to draw different clothing combinations on figures. I loved to cover pads of paper with my own fashion designs and this toy was a present one Christmas. Also loved the spirograph thingo. In my teens it has to be whatever camera i had at the time. Got my first camera, a polaroid, at the age of about 12.
4) Do your remember your first kiss? Tell us about it
I don't really remember my first romantic kiss. There were lots of them on New Year's Eve parties when i was in high school.
5) Who was your favorite teacher in high school? What subject did he/she teach? Why was this teacher your favorite.
My favourite teacher was in junior high, Mr. Dockrill. He was our home room teacher in grade 9 and taught English literature, grammar and history and he was wonderful. In Literature he was the one that brought Shakespeare into my head, doing a play in class and taking us to see it at Neptune Theatre. In history, you could tell he had done lots of reading on the subject beyond what was in the textbook because he had so many cool/funny/gross stories about the people and events that really made me love it for the rest of my life. And in English Grammar he always composed really interesting long sentences. If you have to parse, or restructure, at least the subject of the sentence was interesting or funny. He was funny, sarcastic, witty, and very intelligent.
