Oh forgot to add..one time I DO remember him raising his voice..was at supper one night. Dad worked in the schools and needless to say they were noisy at times. When he came home for supper he really wanted to enjoy a PEACEFUL meal. If sis and I were nit-picking or arguing..it would really irritate him. One night he said NUFF I SAID, NUFF (well..his rendition of ENOUGH I SAID)..but all we heard was NUFF!!! It silenced us but I had to stifle giggles cause of the NUFF.
