I must have missed this when you posted it - I'm sorry, I often end up skimming my friends page when reading at work.

I'm so so sorry for your loss, but relieved that your dad's suffering is over, and reserving a little of that relief for you too. Watching someone one loves die is the hardest thing one ever has to do, I think.

I hope the next few weeks pass as smoothly and painlessly for you and your family as they can. *Lots of hugs*
