tvordljSee this is why i hate April weather. It got really nice at the end of March. Beeyootiful. Now it's cold, rainy, really windy, and there was even wet snow in the rain a few minutes ago. It's forecast as possibly snowing again by the end of the week though it won't last long and will probably be wet anyway. You can get all four seasons in one week in April around here.
Ironically and possibly appropriately, the roller ball on my new mouse here at work... squeaks! it's not constant and not loud but it squeaks! I've been giggling about it for the last hour. My neighbour says what did i expect it to do? Bark?
Got some pounds sterling at the bank yesterday. $2.067 CAD to the pound is what i paid which is a couple of cents more than the actual rate but that's how the banks make money. Still pretty cheap though considering 2 years ago when i was over there, the exchange rate was $2.50 per pound. Hope it stays down for the next month or so until i get back! I always like to get some cash to start off with rather than look for a bank machine at the airport. The exchange rate is better through the bank machine but my bank turns around and charges me $5.00 per transaction anyway so it makes little difference in the long run. (£2.50 at today's exchange rate)
