As my coworker said, the humidity has reached its peak. I'll say! While on the bus (and while he was waiting for his), the rain came down so hard it was as if someone just poured it out of a bucket. And sideways. For about 2 minutes. That's all. It's still drizzly and it will rain more but man was i glad i was not outside waiting for the bus although we do at least have a little shelter. If the wind was coming from the wrong direction, though, it wouldn't have been much use. And it's probably going to be dreary and miserable for the foreseeable future according to Environment Canada. What a shit summer we're having for weather! We get one or two nice days here and there just to tease us.

My alarm had just gone off when I heard this downpour of which you speak, just outside my window. I thought I was going to have one hell of a wait for the bus if it was going to keep up. Thankfully it didn't. But sideways is right. I had left the dining room window open and there was water over nearly all of our table and all over the floor around that side of the table closest to the window!!!

I think there's a vague memory somewhere in the cobwebs of my mind. This colour on my skin is not really tan, it's rust!
