Ran out with Mom yesterday to have a peek at a few shops she wanted to go to. Didn't see anything i wanted (for a change) but i helped her spend her money. I'm good at that :) Picked up a couple of things i forgot when i got groceries and something from the post office and came back home. To listen to the rain. Again. We have officially not had summer. We had 10 sunny days out of 40 in June and July, one really hot and humid week or so, and a handful of sunny warm days in August. It's nice today but a bit cool and the nights are noticeably cooler as befitting the approach of September. Now i don't really mind, i'd rather we didn't have weeks of heat and humidity and i'm not a beach person much these days. Anyway. I prefer September and October anyway. We get some lovely days and very little humidity.

Did a few house chores today and browsing mobile phones online. So many to chose from and such widely different prices. I've noticed that the same phone, same model and features can be as much as 15 pounds more for one with Virgin Mobile than the others!!!!! Why?? Anyway whatever i get i'm getting unlocked so it matters little what company it is. My SIM card for the UK is Virgin but if their phones are consistently more expensive, sod them! I might even switch to TMobile anyway before i come back. How long would it take to switch to a different payGo company but still keep the same phone number? I suppose it would be a few weeks which isn't going to work. It doesn't really matter anyway. If i switch and get a new number, i'll just send texts to the UK numbers i have so people will have the new number anyway. Gosh, i don't half witter on sometimes don't i? (don't answer that!)

I guess we might find out tomorrow if Metro Transit has voted to go on strike. Cross all your bits it doesn't happen, kthxbye

also check out damn hangon I can never remember the page.....
