Set of twins born this week. One was over 10 pounds and the other over 12. C-section. And they aren't the largest set of twins ever born either! Ouch!
Have been rummaging through a couple of recipe books. Tired of eating the same things when i do bother to cook something proper so have found a handful of recipes that i want to try. that means the grocery list is longer! I did try two already. One was good the day it was made but not great as leftover. The other was quite good, i have to say though I may modify it a bit when i make it again. It's a tomato barbequey sauce you pour over chicken thighs to bake in. It calls for 3/4 cup of ketchup and i think i'd prefer tomato sauce which is more pure tomatoey than ketchup, if you know what i mean. Ketchup is thick and a bit sweet and i think just a bit too much when used in that sort of quantity. Sort of like if you made a cream sauce with too much flour, almost.
Well i best get my act together and get on the road. Those groceries won't buy themselves.
