The sun shone. The breeze blew. There was no humidity.
Headed over to the Halifax waterfront for about 10 a.m. and wandered around talking pictues of the Tall Ships docked along the shore.
Went on board a couple of them but mostly just looked.
Bought a ticket for a sail around the harbour on the Mar II. Talked to some nice tourists while on board.
Had a wrap for a snack.
Walked some more.
Finally decided to come home, skipping a visit to the Citadel because i had had enough sun and my feet wouldn't have lasted.
When I got there, it wasn't too crowded but it was getting pretty busy by the afternoon. Still, the people kept moving around and through so it wasn't too bad.
The festival theme was the War of 1812 so there were people dressed in military costume from that time period around. They were demonstrating various military things including firing cannons.
Took lots of pictures naturally.
