Check email. No upgrade this weekend. Good. Don't have to go to a meeting.
Leave house 9:30 to catch bus.
Bus transfer at the terminal to one i thought would go the same route as the other Halifax busses.
Bus drives right past the street i want.
Get off bus a few blocks past where i want to be. No problem. I can walk. It's not far even if it is stupid cold.
Starbucks. Hot tea.
Get to salon and sort out the new style.
Wait while the colour and highlights cook. Post silly photo of self with foils all over head to Facebook because there's free wifi.
Quite pleased with hair results. Back out into the cold. Is it slightly warmer? I'm saying warm in a relative sense. It's probably still -15 instead of -20something
Over the road to Pete's Frootique for some supplies. It's busy but not insane like the groceries stores are today apparently (storm coming).
Catch the bus, hardly any waiting. Switch to another bus at terminal.
Wait nearly 30 minutes for bus to go to rental office. Contemplate just going home and calling Building reps but go to the office anyway.
Pay rent. Get them to fax the direct debit form to the head office again. Pick up work order form for some maintenance work.
Wait short while for bus. Three blocks to a transfer point. Wait another 20 minutes. Brrrrrrrrr. It's definitely warmer than it was this morning. Clouds are moving in for the kill.
Get home, call Building Rep who won't bother coming to get the form. I have to leave it under a door of the supply room? Really?
Get sandwich.
Stats canada lady shows up at door and sits on my couch for an hour while i answer questions and eat sandwich.
She leaves. Mom calls.
Finish sandwich.
Put groceries away, make tea.
Watch some Corrie, some Young and Restless.
It's nearly 7 p.m.! I think i'm finally warm!
