Meme day 5
Feb. 13th, 2015 10:17 amThis is a bit of a washout. It's about 6 songs I'm addicted to. I'm not really addicted to any songs. I don't listen to music regularly, just sometimes. Current favourites when i do are:
1. Come With Me Now - Kongos
2. Black and White - Katy Perry
I have no idea what's on the "top 40" charts. I found that Kongos one because I heard it and didnt' know what it was, I looked on the Q104 current chart and that seemed like it might be it. It was and I picked it up and I love it. Even though Katy Perry would not seem to be my type of music as a rule, I do like a lot of her hits and Black and White is probably my favourite. I've also discovered that I like Lady Gaga. Most of my music is older classic rock and heavier stuff. I'm going to see Bryan Adams next week! I really enjoyed his music back in the day and still do! No idea if the weather is going to cooperate, though. Might book a downtown hotel to relieve the stress!
It's snowing again today. Not supposed to add up to a huge amount but it's coming down and blowing a bit at the moment. Sunday is apparently going to be a proper storm though could turn to rain after all the snow lands. Typical. Let it snow. I don't care on a weekend and we have a holiday on Monday.
Going to choose my wedding flowers tomorrow after a brunch with my floral advisor, my cousin Cath. She's good at that sort of thing.
Picked up my post office parcels yesterday. That DVD remote that i'd lost and replaced! Yay! Something to do while it snows on Sunday! I have a box set of Looney Tunes cartoons. koff. just sayin'. ;) I also ordered some new clothes from Evans in the UK. They are the equivalent of our Pennington's here and their clothes are quite nice and reasonably priced, too. Even having it shipped to Canada worked out pretty good. I got three new tops, two long sleeve tshirts, a pair of leggings and a pair of black pants with shipping for under $200 I think. It's not cheaper than if i bought them here but it's not more expensive either. The nice thing is that they have styles and patterns that are a little different and their tops tend to be longer which I like. I just have to remember to order a size larger as the UK sizes seem to run just a little smaller than ours. Once you know that, you're good to go.
