Semi annual visit to the doctor, just for a prescription refill. All she does is take my blood pressure and weigh me and we chat a little. She's very chatty. She's thorough, too, though and takes time with you. And everyone else. there's usually always a minimum 30-40 minute wait. I left at 9 am. because the next bus might not have made the connection so i did get there a bit early. I browsed in the drug store next to the clinic and went back over, getting my name change done by the receptionist. I thought a 10:15 appointment wouldn't be too bad but it was a longer wait than usual, an hour and 15 minutes! Glad I had my eReader! Back out to catch the bus, then a connection. Got some groceries, decided to wait for a taxi since I had some heavy things and I finally got home at 1. I was done in. The only good thing is that it wasn't very cold and the rain had stopped before I set out. Lucky i had today off for it!

Decided to make a carrot cake for Christmas dessert. I think i can probably make the cakes earlier in the week and freeze them, I can make the cream cheese icing at mom's the day before.
