aodonoghue posted This site on dreams and aditi_ posted about one of her most frightening dreams. Off i trot to see what they had to say about something i dreamed about once that woke me in a cold sweat with pounding heart.

The Dream: I'm on a boat or a barge in the middle of Halifax Harbour. There are other people there with me. I dont' remember if it was anyone i knew. We knew there was a war, and that there were nuclear weapons involved. I think there was a radio... we knew the bomb was coming and then... i saw the blinding white light. And woke up. You see that light, you know what's happened and when i woke up i was shocked... am i still alive??

Now the website above has this to say about Nuclear bombs:
"Nuclear Bomb
To dream of a nuclear bomb, suggests feelings of helplessness, being threatened and loss of control. You may be experiencing great hostility and rage to the point of being destructive. Alternatively, you may be expressing a desire to wipe out some aspect of yourself. It may also be an indication that something crucial and precious to you has ended and important changes are about to occur."

...Which is a great load of toss. See, i've had dreams about nukes before but nothing that vivid. And see, i always figured Halifax would be a target as we were the east coast base for the Canadian Navy as well as having (at that time) two large oil refineries and a major shipping container port. And you know what? After the Berlin Wall came down and the cold war ended, i haven't had a nuke dream since!

I wonder how they come up with the interpretations....I mean..how do they know?
I used to dream that I could fly...although in the dream I hated it. And that my teeth were all loose and falling out...

Ooh i used to dream about losing teeth too. There was about 10 years when i had no dental plan and couldn't afford it. When i started going to the dentist again, the dreams stopped LOL!
