Happy Valentine's Day
Line of the Day:
Line of the Day:
- Karen: You’re a born manager, Steve, being nasty comes natural to you!
- Roy I am not a ruthless man, Hayley but back me into a corner and I come out fighting
Not a lot of lines really struck me today but I managed two. Bits and pieces first I think.
Sally and Kevin get two 30 second scenes of face time. I guess the honeymoon is over? Why do women always say “you shouldn’t have” when someone buys them a nice present? You bloody well should have and I’m glad you did :) Ken won’t give his opinion on whether Deirdre should go back to work for Dev but at least she finally found a clue and picked up on his obvious feelings. Didn’t Steve look cute in a striped pinny and oven gloves? Tracy doesn’t have a job because she “values her independence”? She only decided to get a job because people were starting to take the mick out of her being a kept woman. Hmm… Lucy’s back on screen, Lucy owns a florist and Tracy’s career background is flowers. What do you think are the odds….. Janice is exactly the kind of person that gets hauled in on a Saturday night after alcohol fuels a short temper, it’s a wonder she hasn’t been arrested for assault before now! Awww Harry’s a good’un isn’t he? I like him more and more!
How can Karen look and feel like a supervisor when she’s dressed like a tart? Fashion police here but I just can’t handle these looks where it’s ok for the bra strap to be hanging out from around the neckline of a top or wearing a black bra under a white top like that. Karen went too far on her first day to prove herself and she only ended up sparking a war with Janice that was fueled further by the contents of a pint glass, both in the glass and out of it. Joe and Karen were talking about more than supervising, nose to nose in the office even if neither of them were admitting it. The writing’s on the wall there I think, specially when they’re making such a big issue out of Steve’s jealousy.
Martin had wise words for Ashley but Ashley still had the tests done. Would you have? It won’t change how he feels if Matt is the father and he’s saying it’s partly in case Joshua ever needs medical stuff. Tough decision. Audrey and Archie still winding up Richard and Richard has taken possession of “his” family. Calm before the storm, folks. Do landlords usually have lease discussion meetings on a Sunday? First Roy said he signed the lease then he’s poring over the fine print. He did sign it though, just before Ciaran gets carted away by the police. Who do you think grassed him up? It’s more likely going to be Shelley I think than it was Roy though it could have been either. Shelley seemed far more threatened by Roy who was smart enough to try to pull the rug out from under Ciaran by snagging the property lease.
Mick is all very well and good but he’s no Dennis. I’m not quite sure about him. First he was moaning about his grotty bedsit and then he’s proposing moving in with Janice. Is he an opportunist? Seems like he genuinely likes her but seems also to be jumping into this pretty quickly. He handled Les pretty well though, you could see his training. Les gets the wrong end of the stick yet again so why doesn’t Janice just say what she means straight out? You'd think she'd know how thick he is by now.
That’s all for this week folks…
