Typing on little cat feet
Dec. 27th, 2002 08:08 pmMy sister bought me a new keyboard for Christmas, a Logitech one with all kinds of programmable keys. Of course this old clunker only has an AT connection, not ps2 or usb so i had to go get an adapter but it's all installed now and works lovely! So quiet too! Have tried programming the keys, so far the ones that don't work are the ones that are for reply/forward/send emaill but very possibly they are meant to work with Outlook which i don't have. The key that brings up netscape messenger works fine though so i can just program those other buttons to do other things. It's even got controls for my music media program :) It's so nice and clean too!
Am having a few people over on Sunday to build the computer desk and celebrate the birthday of one of the ladies. I have wine, vodka, we'll be ordering Chinese ... i think i said all this before , anyway, i thought i better get something else in so i now have crackers and cheese, three cheese and onion dip and mini pita's, whole wheat chips (aka crisps), and a jumbo shrimp ring. Someone is bringing a torte and i have a candle that says "Don't Ask" (she's 50 and not liking it much) Will mix up some cranberry drink in case anyone wants some mandarin orange vodka to mix with it. "Man and Cran" is seductively good!
This keyboard is more sensitive than the old one so i can see even *more* typing mistakes to correct LOL! But i like it, i like it! Thanks Sis! (she's going to have an LJ soon so will let you know so you can all drop by and say hi)

Dazed and Foncused
Dec. 27th, 2002 08:15 pmOk how come now when i go to my recent entries i see the results of the poll and not the poll radio buttons and things ?????? is it because i've filled it out myself? i know once i have, i can't fill it out again so maybe....any of you regular pollmakers know?
