Christmas Box

Back home again in my nest. We got a storm overnight and it's been cold and blustery all day. I brought some leftover turkey and dressing with me and a loaf of Dad's homemade bread. Yum! Carolyn and her kids came over this aft. She gave me a day organizer for Chrissie. I've never had one before, just had little pocket calendars. this has an address book, task list, calendar, note paper, and lots of places for cards, paper, pens etc.

My computer desk was the main present and Mom and Dad gave me a photo album set with lovely acid free paper and photo corners, some cross stitch books, my traditional Farmer's almanac, the book 85, Charing Cross Road (always liked that movie). Mom and Dad both delighted with the books i gave them and my sister loved the clothes i had picked up. She gave me a new keyboard with lots of programmable buttons so i'll sort that out, probably tomorrow. Dinner was lovely, the pavlova was a bit chewy in the center which it shouldn't have been but still tasty.

So next, the girls from work are coming in on Sunday so will have a tidy up and clear off the puter desk of little stuff to make it easier to shift things when the other desk is built. Hoping, that is, that we get it all put together on Sunday.
