Dad's op... Update

Everything went very well with Dad's op. They were even finished a bit early and the surgeon said it went very well. He was a few hours in recovery and then they take him to a room which is post-op but not intensive care but they have more nurse to patient ratio than the wards. We had a few minutes to see him and though he's pale and hoarse from the anaesthetic tubes, he was in good spirits and chatting up the nurses. Mom did well all day too and even went out with us all for lunch which helped pass the time. We're all relieved it's over and he seems to have come through it well.
