Jun. 14th, 2005 01:56 pmIt looks like i may have someone interested in buying my old monitor as is. I told him $15 and told him the things that were wrong with it. Full disclosure, right? Colour tint is a bit yellow/green and once in awhile it "shivers" but maybe it's just interference from something, someone suggested today. Anyway it might have another year or so left in it. That's cool though, it will get out from under my feet if he decides he wants it.
Lots of people on my flist seems to be either too busy, on holidays or other stuff to post or else nothing momentous to say so they don't post. I miss you if you haven't posted for awhile but I guess it's not a bad thing if nothing is making you all upset to post ranty, ravey, frustrated things. What about little successes, fun stuff, and nice things? I do know a couple of people have got new or recent jobs, Go YOU! The rest of you, tell me something you've achieved lately! Or something nice that's happened to you or that you've done for someone else! Maybe you've done something a little different. Maybe you saw something amusing. Such as my fashion "faux pas" for the week...I saw someone in a pair of pale pink tight spandex leggings yesterday morning. She wasn't really large but, well... me dad would say "Must be jelly cause jam don't shake like that!" Trust me. NOT a good look.
And.. i had lunch today with a coworker, someone i rarely do that with but we happened to be at the same coffee shop at the same time. We had a nice discussion over some yummy food and it was quite enjoyable since i usually just take my lunch back to the office and sit at my desk.
Do you post when you just have everyday stuff to write about? Isn't that what a journal is for? or do you post for your audience? I tend to do a bit of both because i know there's people reading. I don't want to bore people but on the other hand, i also like to write to have a record for myself sometimes.
