There's a pumpkin regatta on the river in the Annapolis Valley (this weekend? Next?). They hollow out these giant pumpkins and go floating and racing on the river. Martha Stewart was going to come and do it with her tv crew for her new show but she's not allowed in Canada because she's got a criminal record! She'd have to have a special visa and can't get it in time! And that's not a good thing. *snort*
Dad seemed not too bad when i left yesterday. I'll check later today to see how he's getting on. He wasn't quite as dizzy and wobbly though he needed some help getting up and getting balanced before going down the hall to the bathroom or bed. After all he had been through, he really didn't need this but it was an accident and yes, it could have happened to him anytime. People trip and fall. I certainly do and have the scarred knees to show for it. With me, it's my ankle that gives way and i pitch forward onto my hands and knees. I'm probably lucky i've never broken an arm. We just don't dwell on what *could* have happened because it didn't.
