Saw a young man get off the bus this morning, he was carrying a yellow hard hat in one hand and a pair of wellington rubber boots in the other and i wondered how he was going to get them on. See, he had jeans on that looked like they probably belonged to Giant MacAskill and surely that has to be a safety issue on a construction site?

I was getting rid of a lot of really old bank records and found an envelope of photos that were mostly of my nephews and niece from when they were little. Awwww... Also found a photo taken on my wedding day of me, my ex and my Nan who died in 1987. I'm torn. I don't particularly want old wedding photos around but i don't have that many of my Nan and i don't really want to cut the photo up. Ah well. suck it up, Di, the photo of Nan is more important :)

You will remember i bought a new computer chair on Saturday? Well last night i leaned a little on one arm and an outside panel popped off!!!!! Bloody hell! I figured out how to snap it back on but the adjustable arm won't adjust anymore and later i found two little white plastic bits on the floor that probably are what make the adjustable gizmo work. Anyway, even though i paid for a 2 year waranty on the bits and fabric, i was told that didn't kick in for 5 days but i wasn't going to wait that long. I just called Staples and the young man that i spoke to was fine with replacing either the arm of the chair or the whole chair which i prefered. They'll deliver it tomorrow night. Only the thing is, i told him my address and he said, "you're kidding !" He lives upstairs!! I think it freaked him out more than it surprised me! :)
