The Lucky Ones
Apr. 10th, 2006 03:39 pmNeeded to use the calculator at work today. Gahhh packed it! And the calculator does not seem to be installed on my work pc. No i do not have the cd either. It was all loaded from an image. There's probably a way i can install the calculator but i'll frig around with that later.
Went to eat my lunch. Gahhhh packed my fork. And my stash of plastic utensils... grumble, grumble, search... There's the plastic stuff! And i found my calculator too. This moving and renovating is a nuisance!
No lucky ones yet, right? Read on....
My friend is going to Japan in June on business! Lucky girl! They're staying an extra couple of days for a bit of sightseeing. I don't think they're going to be in Tokyo but she couldn't remember where they would be. She is a network engineer and her company is working with Clearwater Seafoods who are opening up a couple of fish plants in Japan so she gets to go and finalize the installs of the networks.
And Wahey!!! My niece got a scholarship to university worth about 60% of the tuition per year (providing her grades stay good which i have no doubt they will do!)
