Feb. 25th, 2007 05:20 pmJust came back from the corner store and saw that one of the panels of the bus shelter has been smashed out. Again. Two big rocks the size of shoes inside the shelter. I guess that was no accident then. On the plus side, it's quite mild out (well 2 degrees, but that's quite balmy compared to most of this month). Long range forecast for Saturday is sunny. Let's hope it holds so
gramie_dee's plane has no problem landing. Getting snowed in *after* he gets here is not a problem :)
I'm going to watch some of the Oscars tonight. I always do watch some of it but never stay up to the very end. I am curious to see how Ellen DeGeneres does, too. I've only seen one nominated picture this year, The Queen and that was just under the wire. I would actually like to see Babel and maybe Little Miss Sunshine. As much as i wasn't that keen on the movie, i think Marie Antoinette should get the award for the costumes. They did a fantastic job there. Apparently Tom Cruise is presenting something this year. He's on a mission to get his career and profile raised up a bit. Damage control i think. Also, both Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz are presenting. I bet the backstage will be a bit awkward there :)
