minivanmom, Yes, Cirque du Soleil is coming to the Halifax Metro Centre in August. Not cheap but not Las Vegas prices either. Tickets go on sale officially on Saturday. There was a smaller troupe of Cirque opening the Paul McCartney show in Manchester a couple of years back. They started off slowly, but then the beautifully choreographed acrobatics were astonishing. Graceful, colourful, of course it wasn't a full show, just a 20 or 30 minute demonstration but the costumes were wonderful and the agility was amazing, even though i was near the top of the upper bowl of the arena (which holds 3 times as many people as our Metro Centre so you can imagine how much further up you were!)
Another grey, dark day today and tomorrow too. Thus i am dressed all in black to go with the weather.
Had 2 people remark on my new red purse on the bus this morning :) It *does* stand out.
