(no subject)

Another week, another doctor's appointment. At least the bit of infection at the bottom of the incision is cleared up. That's progress. The little bit that's open is still draining and she said it looked ok, clean, not infected. Just keep doing what I'm doing and come back in a week. It's in an awkward spot for me to see clearly, under the belly but at least I know it's doing ok. It's just so annoying and frustrating. If the incision would just get over itself, i could have more patience with all the other aches!

*whinge*

Stocked up on some more gauze and steri-strips. Mom is picking up a few groceries for me and I must take the sheets off the bed to put in the wash. I can get the laundry on but she has to get it out of the dryer as it's too much of a bend and stretch. Apparently it's not a 5 pound limit for lifting, it's 10 pounds so that's a bit more flexible. Oh and it might be that my old microwave wasn't the problem, the plug might have been! I guess if that's the case, i have a spare microwave! I am going to keep the new one anyway, it's a bit smaller which gives me a few inches more space on the limited counter top.
