I went to the drugstore yesterday to get my nephew's birthday card and picked up four cards, two for friends and two for relatives. Came back up to my desk, Realized I had not actually bought my nephew's card. That's the one I need most! tsk.

I finished 11 books in February, probably a new record. To be fair, the first couple finished were started and read mostly in January and there were a number of fairly short and easy reads this month including two celeb autobiographies. My mom and sister gave G. a mini-Kobo for Christmas and he's loving it. He'd only been reading on an iPod touch before but now he reads at lunch and on both breaks and says it makes the day go faster at work. I don't think he reads as much at home because he's usually busy doing webby stuff or radio show stuff or watching tv but I'm glad he's enjoying it and reading a bit more.

Saw a few photos in the UK Telegraph  this morning to do with showing photos of streets in London that merge an old photo with present day. I like those, they're quite neat. In looking at that, i was eventually let to the Museum of London website where they pointed me to an app where you can delve into that museum's photo and print archives matching up with various points in London. If actually in London, you should be able to use the phone's GPS and camera and find an old photo of the view you're looking at. I don't know if you need to have data turned on for that, probably do though. Might be worth a try just the same.
