Are you sick of this Janet Jackson/Justin whosis boob thing yet? i was by the end of the day after. For crying out loud it's just a boob. A local columnist is of the opinion that the real offender is the nipple. AFter all when you see upper body female nudity in the newspapers or on tv, what's blocked out by a little black spot? the nipple. Ms. Jackson had a metallic decoration over hers that pretty much obscured the offending bit so what's the problem? Talk about making a mountain out of a surgically enhanced molehill!
In other news, the three developers here, me included, have been told that we are moving our desks into a different location. We knew they were going to confiscate this room currently being used as a printer room and move 3-4 people in there as we need the space. It's going to be us three so we were in there today looking at the space. No window :( There will be a wall to a corridor with a door and the wall into the rest of our IT office area may be pulled down and we'll have work stations with pseudo walls fronting that area, mainly for air circulation. The initial concept was to keep the wall and add a door. But i think that would make it too stuffy in there even with the door open as there is no other source of heat or ventilation in there. Well there's a vent but it's loud and noisy but it had to be there for the printer which is a large one the size of a photocopier used for large print jobs. Anyway it will be ok, And one thing about being away from the window is that it will be warmer because it's pretty chilly now at times. It's temporary too as are all office moves around here but it could happen within the next couple of months. Will know more on Monday i think.
