Liquid Snow

tvordljIt's one of those days. The rain pelts down for about 2 minutes then lets up and does this over and over.
Am at my mother's now. Dad is making fancy Christmas bread and scones and i'm going to watch one of my afternoon soaps before we go out and pick up a couple of movies. Mind you, sis and two of her kids are coming over tonight so i don't know when we're supposed to be watching them. We'll have them for a couple of days though i guess. Blockbuster in the US in the new year are going to abolish late charges but if you don't get the movie back in a month, you own it and you'll be charged for it. Fair enough. Don't know if they'll follow suit in Canada.
The Christmas tree looks quite full with pressies for everyone including sis and the kids.
And Amazon came though and delivered my Corrie dvd set and i picked it up today. That's *only* probably because i emailed and complained so they upped my order to priority post. naturalbornkaos wrote a lovely "we hate Amazon" poem but the journal is friends only so until he gets back from the hols and i can persuade him to either unlock it or let me copy it here, you will have to use your imaginations. Suffice it to say, Amazon wouldn't be the same after the vigilantes are done with it lolol
