Yet another sunny day in the city. I rode to the hospital with Mom and sis but didn't go up. I walked over to Spring Garden Road and wandered my way down to the waterfront, taking photos of those Lobsters (yes i'll post them when i get more taken) and browsing in the shops. I bought a book i'd been looking for, bought a barbequed sausage and a cup of tea and sat on the waterfront and read for awhile. Until the wind knocked over my cup and the last of the tea splashed over my knees lol! Walked around some more, admired the Columbian tall ship Gloria and took the ferry across the harbour.

Finally got home and chatted to a neighbour outside for a few minutes and have gulped back a pint pot of sugar free green apple pop to quench my thirst. Tomorrow i'll have to do laundry and sort out stuff for work on Monday. I guess it will be ok to get back into my routine. I still have quite a bit vacation time left, but i will probably use most of it for Christmas/New Year again. I should take a few days in the fall too, or it won't get used up and they frown on that. I can carry over 5 days which i will do but i've got extra besides. It's a hard life. ;)

And a couple of photos, with a couple of lobster pics as a teaser.

Love those lobsters. Here in Vancouver we had the same thing only ours were orcas. They wre auctioned off for charity after a year. A winning one was an Elvis orca parked out front of the Virgin Records Megastore!

That would have been so cool! There's supposed to be 30 of them around the city so i'll hunt as many of them out and take pics and post a full gallery. They're being auctioned off for charity, too, in the fall. When i was in Manchester, it was cows :)

I just noticed that the Elvis orca was painted by my very first boyfriend when I was a very young lass lol (he's a furniture maker now - his stuff looks like it belongs in Dr. Seuss books)
