You haven't heard much from me this weekend since Friday because, well, there was nothing to tell :) It's been crap weather until today and today i still did bog all. Oh no... I did do some painting finally. I stopped in to visit Dad yesterday for an hour or so while my sister took Mom to the bank and to Wally World. We had some ice cream and started watching a movie though i did take a call and have to give him some bad news. One of his cousins, who had been in hospital for a few weeks battling pneumonia, fluid in his lungs and an infection in the pancreas caused apparently by an errant gall stone, died of heart failure. Of course that was upsetting though i think he was more upset because of how upset his cousin, the man's brother, was going to be because the brother had just lost a good friend in his home town as well. Dad and the brother that didn't pass away are fairly close buddies.


So basically i'm just checking in. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Make sure to tell your dad how sorry I am to hear about his cousin. Not the sort of thing he needs to hear in his current situation getting over his op.

And make sure you post a pic of that painting when it's done. ;)
