Sense and Sensibility.... Something compels me to watch this every time i see it on tv. Why, yes, i *do* own the dvd as well :) It's probably in my top favourite movies, along with Shirley Valentine, An Awfully Bid Adventure, Gone with the Wind and All About Eve. I could also watch Four Weddings, Bridget Jones Diary and Shallow Grave umpteen times. Also rans: Fifth Element, Blade Runner, Almost Famous, Stir Crazy and the Talented Mr. Ripley.
I've rented Beyond the sea (bio pic of Bobby Darin) and Sin City for later today. Perfect for a dark gloomy Sunday afternoon. After the last couple of busy weekends it's been nice not to do much of anything outside the house. I dug out my travel guides too just for a look. It's not like i don't have the world at my fingertips here on t'interweb but the books are pretty, glossy and nice to look at. My best friend's daughter is going to join up with Students Working Abroad when she graduates high school She can apparently work between the UK and Ireland for up to 3 years so i think i'll send her one of my travel guides to Ireland and one of my UK guides as a Christmas pressie. They aren't that out of date and the major attractions in the countries never change anyway.
S&S is over, i think i'll make another cuppa and put in Beyond the Sea first.
