International Night

Attended the International Night at one of the universities, St. Mary's where Tracey works. She got the tickets for free. Dinner is a buffet of various types of food, there was a veg curry, samosas, jerk chicken, a chinese dumpling, tabouli, greek salad, rice. No goat. This was the same event that i went to last year wanting to try the curried goat. My back was recovering from a "spell" and i went to the toilet and stretched and spasmed it something fierce. No goat this time, just a hole in my mouth LOL Uneventful as far as disasters go. Tracey and Steve and her friend Margaret and her fella John went as well and we had a nice evening. In addition to the food there are various entertainments, some singing, a bit of dancing. We didn't stay to the end because it was getting very warm.

Wow..that sounded like it was fun! I got to get a subscription to the Herald again so I can find out about things like that... *I'll stop pouting now*

Well i only found out about it Friday night because my friend Tracey works at the university for the company that does all the catering so her group provided the service and some of the food.
