Today is the feast day of St. Aldegund who is invoked for eye problems. Today's word of the day is Butterfly's Kiss which is a "kiss" with the eyelashes. Interestingly enough, there was a late Victorian era self help book that espoused trimming of the eyelashes every six weeks lest the ends get split. This would ensure that they regrew in thick and healthy.

I need to renew my driver's license by March 3. I think i might go this week after work as long as i'm having a good hair day ;) We renew them every 5 years but it feels like a lot longer since i've had mine done. Last time my hair was quite long and permed and i was sick with flu so i looked terrible. I had my hair cut within a week after that photo was taken so i've only had it short that long though it feels longer. The time, not the hair. Though my hair is in bad need of a trim. I really shouldn't post so early in the morning. I confuse myself. Sorry.

I used to give my kids butterfly kisses when they were little. They weren't sure if they preferred them over Eskimo kisses though :o)

Oh gosh, that's painful too and it's catching!
