Been piddling down rain all day. This is a good thing. It means it's warmer..it means it will dissolve lots of snow. It's less foggy now... i can see the other side of the harbour from my window.

Timeline meeting all afternoon but we actually got through it. However, we've determined, in the best case scenario, that this project won't be implemented until Sept 28. My boss was hoping for July 1. That was a snowball's chance in hell date, in all our opinions. That's not counting that we get interruptions, and other projects wanting our time. If there's a civic by-election in there, well, it's going to toss it all like salad.

lol...I take it that you are hearing all the political ads that have suddenly graced our airwaves as well. The smell of election is in the air.

Oh there doesn't seem to be any doubt there will be an election and if one or more of the city councillors runs for the province like we think they will, then we have a by election for the city. I work for the IT section of the city and we have to set up and run the election results system.
