I like Marian Keyes' books, i really do. Usually.
Just picked up new one in paperback, This Charming Man and will be telling story from POV of four different women. First 130 pages was Lola and all written in style that apparently like diary. Just like this paragraph. Is annoying and inconsistent. As if wanted to use textspeak but not brave enough or knows line would be crossed. At least rest of book written in normal type prose. Think trying to channel Bridget Jones. Not working. Story ok though.

I've just read two of Marian Keyes' books too, although not the one you mentioned above. Ali gave me one to read on the plane home in June and I liked it so I got another from the library. :)

Normally i do like her books. She's very funny but this was highly overdone. I'm now into another character so it's easier to read for a bit.
