What i really hate
Jan. 9th, 2003 10:56 am... is getting a help desk incident from users who are far too vague... "I can't save data in such and such... any idea?"
... is getting a help desk incident from someone who decides to clean up their hard drive and deletes a piece of software or driver they didn't know was important.
... is finding out that what you set up for three different offices is admired so much that two more want it too. You warn them, yet in doing so makes the size of the data file so enormous because there is no other way around it to give the other two offices access, that inevitably they will call the help desk and say their system is too slow.
