In the House where we lived

My sister sammantha wrote today (or here if the duplicate is gone) about the house where we grew up. It was a three bedroom bungalow with a basement, kitchen, bathroom and living room, no dining room. She writes about dreaming about the house. I do too. But almost always in my dreams, i'm in the house but i know i'm not supposed to be there because someone else lives in it now. I don't dream about the structural changes the new owners have made and most things look more or less the same but it's not "our" house anymore and i know it. Weird eh?

London has heaps of snow and from zoo_music_girl's photo it looks just like Canada! Last year after a snowfall like that i went out and took some photos around the lake near me.

There's an expression in the U.K. generally used to refer to a man of dubious masculinity, "A big girl's blouse"... i know what it means but does anyone know where it came from?
