Good God

I wasn't going to do that silly "nick caused by a disease" thing but i did. And i wasn't planning on posting the result but it made me hoot out loud. Haven't seen this result on my flist so...

Fridays rock

Kept gramie_dee on the phone bending his ear. Then i finally managed to get the vacuuming done and a few things tidied up considering my mom and dad are coming for supper on Sunday. Later this aft i went to the mall to get a few things, and some groceries. Did forget a couple of things and one thing i was supposed to look for for a friend where i'm going tomorrow morning. Gah! Home now, had some cold chicken on a bagle and am faffing around online. The sun is leaving us so i suppose it will rain on the weekend but it was a lovely week for weather.

Getting close to my holidays now.. i'll have the suitcase out this weekend to put incidentals in like books and maps and gifts that i've been picking up for folk. Still need to get a couple more things including something for the little boy of the couple that's getting married in Ireland. Gramie and i decided to take a day trip over to York too, instead of Liverpool as my friend who we would be seeing is going to be away anyway. We both like York and want to check out the Richard III museum and walk the city walls. Maybe get a look in the big York museum too, i don't know. Or just wander around and enjoy the city, trying to avoid the Minster and Shambles where most of the tourist crush will be. Anyone in the area fancying a narsecuppa tea, let me know before i go (July 6), i'll be posting to LJ from Manchester as well and email checking. I'll also have a mobile when i'm there, either my own or access to one on the day since Gramie sent me his old Motorola and i'm planning on getting a sim card and pay as you go plan over there, i've said that before i guess.
