Argghh

I went to the salon for my pedicure and manicure at lunchtime. Cancelled. They didn't call me because when i booked it (and prepaid it!) they didn't take my phone number! The aesthetician had a death in the family this week so it couldn't be helped and i did get my money back but i really REALLY wanted that pedicure. The other salon handy doesn't do them anymore but i did manage to get booked in to the spa where i get my hair done, for after work. That means i'll pay twice as much since originally the manicure was free! The refund will subsidize half the total cost though so that's something i guess. I just would have rather had the whole afternoon for the polish to dry.
