Sep. 3rd, 2011 01:24 pmBill is still improving. They've kept him in for observation, making sure the fluid continues to recede and the meds continue to work. The hospital only has limited visiting hours so Graham trades shifts with his neighbour who's a good friend of his dad's and is the one that had checked on him and found him in distress the other day, luckily.
I've booked my flights for next Sunday arriving on Monday morning and coming back the Sunday after so we'll have most of a week together. I think we both need this and it's far too long to wait until May. I could have flown through Philadelphia but the plane from here to there looked very small and I just knew it would be a nightmare for me. So i pay a little more and fly to Toronto and then to Manchester via Air Transat. With any luck it will be a tolerably comfortable flight. Needs must for a last minute booking and i'll see my fella in 9 sleeps!
