Apr. 19th, 2013 06:33 pmAfter a frustrating week at work, I come home to a note under the door.
I was notified yesterday that the building people were going to come in and check on the things i needed doing (re the saga of the crack in the kitchen ceiling).
The note said sorry, we didn't know what needed doing, can you call us.
All they had to do is look to the right into the kitchen and they'd have seen the sign.
*sign*
And i had a voice message from another guy from the same building rep company, he knew what the problem was as i'd spoken to him a few days ago. He wants to know when he can come in and look at the problem. WTF? Can you people please get it together?
Turns out YET ANOTHER new management company is looking after the buildings. These owners can't seem to keep them. Every year it's a new one. Jesus if i have to go through the agony of having to set up the automatic withdrawal again i will have a nervous breakdown.
Apparently the couple that was the "superintendent" for my building have left, because it's a "couples" position and the wife appears to have legged it so the guy has to leave as well. Can you get that? Lose your wife so you lose your job. Nice.
The people that came in today are apparently the new couple taking over on May 1 and the other guy i guess works for the company. I"m not sure. I"m confused and frustrated.
Anyway.
One way or the other, i think these issues are going to be solved.
The worst thing is that i may have to empty out the cupboards because I think they'll have to tear them out to get at the ceiling. What a mess that's going to be. I did tell one of the two i spoke to that we'll be away for a few days in May so maybe MAYBE if they can get their act together, they can do it while i'm gone. I should probably start emptying out the cupboards of the things i know i don't use now, that will be a good start.
Stay tuned.
