Winding down at the gym, and will not have my personal fitness dragon after the next couple of weeks. (need to save that money for the wedding!) I'm really going to miss seeing and chatting to him. I'm hoping he'll touch base at least if he's in the gym when I am and I plan to email him to keep him up on my progress. That solves two things, one, just keeping in touch and two, should help to keep me honest in my gym workouts. i.e. going! This week we meet on Monday and Friday and I am to go on Wednesday on my own. I think we'll do that for the last few weeks, that will get me started. I get spoiled, see, and now even if he can't make our session, I don't go on my own. I used to go on my own when i didn't see the trainer but it's habits you get into.

It's definitely made a difference even if i haven't lost weight which wasn't my point anyway. Ok, i have lost a little bit over the past couple of years but not anything significant. But when i went to my doctor a couple of weeks ago, she was happy enough with my blood pressure to tell me i can drop one of the two BP meds I'm on, the one that's a little booster for the other. That's progress. I do have to go back in a couple of weeks for a check to make sure my BP is staying where she wants it.

In other news, it's under 100 sleeps until Graham gets here again at the end of august. we're just waiting to see if there are any reductions in the flight cost but i doubt there will be. That time of the year, and with him flying home on a Friday which makes it a little more expensive, i don't see it dropping by much.
