Richard Thompson is playing at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on March 20!!! Damn! A little bit of Nova Scotia, though, Our Natalie McMaster is playing there in May!

I was looking to see what was playing in Manchester when i'm there, both the Palace and the Royal Exchange Theatre. The Importance of Being Ernest is on there while i'll be there. No cast listed yet.

Must have a look at the theatre listings for London as well. Am tempted to go to a matinee at the Globe. Does one have to get advance tickets, or what is the likelihood of getting seating at the box office either a day or two ahead or on the day of performance? Looks like the plays that are on while i'm there are doable, Much Ado and Measure for Measure. Would prefer the second as i've never seen it yet. a 2 p.m. performance would be ideal. I could do something in the morning, go to the theatre, then have the evening free.

I'm going to have to find a travel type icon i think lol

[livejournal.com profile] interlock should be able to tell you all about the Globe, as her students go there, and indeed do workshops there.
