Lost and Found

Phew. I thought i lost my favourite ring, a silver one with a turquoisy coloured stone in it. The stone is actually a kind of clay that you bake really hard and cut into shaps for jewellry and i always forget the proper name of it. This has turquoise, black and a bit of red and white swirled through it and the setting is sort of leafy around either side. I got it in a flea market in Dublin in 2002. Anyway i was afraid it might have gone down the drain or toilet when i was cleaning yesterday though i only realized it was gone about a half hour ago. Anyway i found it on the carpet under the computer chair of all places. Good thing i had already vaccuumed the other day.

I photocopied my passport so that i could put it with my information that i leave with my mom when i go away. I got thinking, man what a difference a hair style makes! This photo would be 3 and a half years old and my glasses have changed as well. My weight hasn't changed appreciably but the old style, looking back, definitely less flattering even though the recent photo hasn't got my hair styled properly. It was a wash and go kinda day. I'm just trying to think when i changed the style. I know it was still curled in the fall of 2001, i think it was changed by the time i was in Ireland, spring 2002.

you must have lost weight cause your face is thinner in the second pic..the first pic..well..look at the nose down and look at my default picture from the nose down..major resemblance eh?

I haven't lost weight at all as it turns out. But gravity does have an effect and a good hair style really can make that much difference in how your face looks as well as the angle of the photo. Oh yes we both always did look similar from the mouth and chin area other than the cleft in mine.

My Nan's actually. My mother's mother :) Mom's is similar but a little different. She resembles her father more.
