Calling for snow changing to rain today. Looks like there's a light rain now but with a little snow in it. Everyone keep those positive vibes coming this way.

Having lunch with some friends from school today so that will make the time go by faster.

Now the gtg next Wednesday night, Jan 5. Nobody really suggested any other pub so is Chandos fine with everyone? We can go into Soho/chinatown to eat (though Chandos does have a restaurant upstairs) Or a Wetherspoons where we can eat right there? For those there's the one in Leicester Square, there's Shakespeare's Head at the Holborn tube, The Penderel's Oak a little further down Holborn, Lord Moon of the Mall on Whitehall and Moon and Sixpence on Wardour. I dunno, they all seem central and the only ones i've been to are the one on Whitehall and Chandos. Chandos is just behind St. Martin's in the Fields, approximately across from the National Portrait Gallery on St. Martin's Lane.

As for time, i am guessing we could get to the pub between 4:30 and 5. That gives us time to check into the hotel and get sorted and out again. So any time after that....or before if you're so inclined lol

I'll have LJ access from Gramster Towers so no worries there. See you all soon.

I can recommend the Shakespeare's Head, as I went the other week for my Christmas Do with Disney...

I think Wetherspoons will be a lot cheaper than Chandos to eat, but it's up to you!

I can't make it into the centre until at least 6:30pm or so, but I'll definitely be there on the 5th, so let me know where you'll be circa that time. :)

I will do. i wasn't necessarily thinking of eating in Chandos anyway. Wetherspoons is cheap and cheerful and we could plant ourselves and stay there if that's what everyone wanted to do. I shall indeed let you know if the destination changes. I know some people are coming from work so i would stay at one place until we are fairly sure most attendees have arrived anyway. That does put a few more points in Wetherspoons' favour for food.

I can either be there when everyone else is or at 7.30ish if I have to work that day. Can I vote for Wetherspoons? I don't even know what Chandos is. Is it like a Chinese Nandos?

It's just a normal pub but Wetherspoons is probably better so we can eat there and not have to go anywhere else. both are handy the tube too.
