tvordljYesterday was uneventful. With any luck, today will be, too. I really have to get my parcels wrapped and packed up to mail very soon. I have to sit and write out my Christmas cards. They're all address labeled at least.
That celtic ring that had the stone fall out back in the summer is *still* with the jeweller!!! The problem seems to be that when he tries to order a stone, he can't get the right size. Apparently standard sized stones for rings are different in North America than in Europe. If he were to have a stone custom cut, it would cost far more than the ring is worth, even an inexpensive stone. I dunno. I told him i'd take the ring back by the end of the year if he's still not able to sort it. After that, i don't know what i'll do with it. I still think i should be able to get something cut, glass or something that isn't too expensive and barring that, maybe the next time i'm over in the UK i can get it fixed there. Graham can always pick it up for me if it takes longer than my visit or they can mail it to me. It just seems like a lot of trouble for something that seems so minor.
