Feb. 15th, 2005 12:18 pmDark, damp, rainy day.
Sitting in a training room this morning and looking down the street, there's a Union Jack flying above the newspaper building. No Canadian flag. Just the jack. Odd.
Went to Future Shop after work, picked out a new cordless phone with answering machine in it. Mom and Dad are going halves on it for my birthday. The ring on it is going to annoy me though i think. There's a "musical" setting and the lower ring volume setting but i don't know if that's going to be loud enough if the phone is in a different room.
Java is going ok. Norma popped over the cube wall yesterday afternoon and was surprised to see me, because she hadn't heard me swearing in frustration ;)
Am off on Friday. First one since Christmas hols. Seems like a long time. Couldn't take one three weeks ago because i had a vacation day and two snow days off in that cycle. Even though i had those two extra days off, it wasn't the same, because of the storms. couldn't go out anywhere because the busses weren't running. So what shall i do on my day off? Hmm... if i'm ambitious i will go to the gym and i may go to visit my friend Jo.
